Butter dish in collaboration with Aquiles cerâmica, a local brand by talented ceramist Inês Soares. A ceramic butter dish inspired by the traditional french style, that keep the butter at room temperature without any refrigeration, all year long.
Handmade by Inês Soares in Ílhavo, Portugal, in the potters-wheel using stoneware clay.

The dish helds up to 250gr (8.8 oz) of butter. This is the amount of a regular butter package in Europe.
Care
Wash butter keeper with soapy water before first use. Add about 150ml of water in the bottom container. Add 250gr of butter at room temperature (or less) in the lid/top container. Keep the butter pressed and clean to avoid the formation of air pockets and bacteria. Fit lid in bottom container to close it and store in a dry and cool place. The water used to keep the butter should be changed regularly, specially during the warmer months.
