Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are based on weight and depends on the quantity of items.
Regular shipping is carried by Portuguese post company CTT and will be handled in your country by your national post company. International tracking sometimes takes a long time to update, so it's best to track your parcel directly with your local post office. Take into account that there is only one delivery attempt.

International Shipping

If you really need a 100% trackable and fast delivery, upgrade your shipping option to FedEx (for the US the delivery is 2-3 days). If there is no upgrade option available, just reach out to me so I can give you a quote for your shipment.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Mariamélia is not responsible for delays due to customs.

Returns

Return Costs

Mariamélia cannot support reshipping costs for items that have been shipped back because they have been unclaimed from the mail. If you don't get your parcel in about 8-10 days, just head to your local post office with your parcel's tracking code. Regular mail has only one delivery attempt, so if that fails the more likely is that the parcel will be in your nearest Post Office for a while before being shipped back unclaimed.

14 Days to Return

For all products that are not made to order, there is a 14-day return policy. Any article sold by Mariamélia that presents a significant flaw can be returned within 14 days, along with its invoice. Before sending back your product you must contact us by email. Unique articles will be fully reimbursed and others will be replaced with other article in perfect conditions.

Made to order items can only be returned/exchanged if they arrive damaged due to bad shipping handling.

Hats returns

Mariamélia won’t accept free exchanges or returns from wrong sizes, so please be sure to double-check your measurements before placing your order.

Lampshades no return policy

Keep in mind that the handmade nature of enamel items will probably present small flaws that are actually characteristic of the enameling process. You're purchasing an unique item, enamelled and fired one by one. Note that because every lamp is made to order, these items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are damaged during shipping.

Please note that the colors pictured will vary according to monitor settings. Due to the handmade nature of this material, color descriptions and photos will never convey the exact tone of the enamel color. For a more accurate choice, enamel color samples are available upon request.
